What is check in/check out time?
Check in is from 3pm and check out is 11am. We cannot offer early check in or late check out’s due to the cleaning schedule. Check in is via a key code so we do not require the time of your arrival. All arrival details will be sent to you 3 days before arrival.
Can we add extras to our reservation after we have booked?
Yes you can add extra’s up until 24 hours before your arrival (unless stated otherwise).

What happens if we need to cancel/change our booking?
All bookings are non refundable we can however offer requests to change the date up to 14 days before arrival. If you wish to change the date we request you check the availability of the pod you have booked and send us an alternative available date. Please email info@wonderlandretreats.co.uk
What items do you recommend to bring?
- Blanket - Food & drink - Slippers/flip flops for the hot tub - Warm clothes during the winter: we are a glamping site, most of the facilities are outdoors.
What items are included in the pods?
- Pizza oven - Grill - Fridge - Coffee machine & pods - Tea & coffee facilities - Kettle & toaster - Towels & bath robes - Cosy log for the sauna - Cutlery & crockery - Toiletries - Toilet roll
Where are you located?
We are located just outside of the town of Carnforth, there are major supermarkets, pubs, takeaways and train station all 5 minutes walk away. We are a 30 minute drive to the South Lakes.
Do I need to prepay for the whole booking?
25% deposit is taken when making the booking the remaining 75% is then due 21 days before arrival. You will receive a reminder email to pay the balance.
How do I book?
To book, please click on any ‘book now’ button on the website. Please check the availability by using the calendar, the green marks available dates.
What if there is no availability around the dates I want?
We are honoured that our pods are so popular, but with that means we don’t always have the availability you want if booking close to the date. We will always post our cancellations or late availability on our social media pages & emailing list. Our 2026 diaries are also open.
Do you allow pets?
Sorry our site is pet free.
Which pods have hot tubs?
All of our pods have wood-fired hot tubs, saunas & projector screens. - The Rabbit hole has a darts board. - The Rabbit Hole, Hearts Hideaway & Hatters Hideout have pool tables. - The Rabbit Hole & Hatters Hideout have games machines.
What is the minimum night stay?
We offer 1 night minimum stays, and we do not put a limit on maximum night stay. From 2026 weekends will be on a 2 night minimum basis.
Do you allow children?
We are an adults only glamping site.
